I am installing Vista to a new Maxtor 200GB SATA drive. I have downloaded a second copy and checked the md5 sum to verify the downloaded file. I have burned copies at 16x, 2x and 1x. 2.3GHz CPU 512 pc3200 RAM 128MB nVidia video card
After typing in the keys I select a partition to install to, click on install drivers from the Maxtor software that came with the disk, but the software finds no drivers on it.
It begins:
Installation copies files, expands files, installs features and installs updates. At Completing Installation an error message pops up that reads:
Windows Setup
An error occurred while preparing Windows Setup to boot into the next stage of the setup.
